Use measurements as well as size labels

S, M and L can refer to different dimensions across suppliers and markets. Provide a finished measurement chart and the method used for each measurement.

Consider what is worn underneath

Rainwear may be worn over clothing or a school bag. Describe the intended use, required space and length before choosing a sample.

Separate the sample from the size mix

Confirm the fit of the approved sample, then record quantities by size and color. Any recommended height information should be checked against the actual garment.

Keep a shared reference

Retain the final measurement table, approved sample and agreed tolerances with the order documents so that repeat orders can use the same reference.
